SOCAN was pleased and proud to present Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Art d’Ecco with a No. 1 Song Award for “Head Rush,” which reached the zenith of the CBC Music Top 20 chart on May 1, 2021.
SOCAN Vice President, Creative and Member Relations, Cameron Kennedy, and Creative Executive, East Coast, Houtan Hodania presented the award to d’Ecco, the sole writer and performer of the song, on Monday, Nov. 25, 2024, at a wine bar in downtown Toronto.
The singer-songwriter thanked SOCAN on his Instagram and Facebook accounts, saying “I gotta come to Toronto more often!”
